toptentuesdayIt’s Tuesday again which means time for another round of Top Ten Tuesday; I like joining in on this meme because I have a set topic to work with. Top Ten Tuesday is a book blogger meme that is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and this week the theme is: On My Autumn 2014 TBR List. I’m not sure if I’ll get to all these books; I’m sure others will get in the way but here are ten books I plan to read over the next few months.

  • Equilateral by Ken Kalfus
  • Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides
  • Ransom by David Malouf
  • Shovel Ready by Adam Sternbergh
  • The Girl with All the Gifts by M.R. Carey

  • The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova
  • The Magicians by Lev Grossman
  • The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett
  • The Wives of Los Alamos by TaraShea Nesbit
  • The Yellow Papers by Dominique Wilson

Great list! Been meaning to get around to Middlesex for ages…Hope you enjoy The Magicians, I quite enjoyed it when I read it a few years ago. Happy reading 🙂

  2. Shovel Ready was a very quick and very interesting read. Great story told in a pared down voice that takes noir seriously. I’m leading a book group discussion of Equilateral in April/May so that is definitely on my TBR list and I’m anxiously awaiting The Girl With All the Gifts.

I only heard about Shovel Ready a few days ago but it’s sounds really good. I might get that one soon.

The Magicians has been on my wishlist for sooo long. Somehow I never get to buying it. I only heard good things about this series.
